The new web recording highlights a meeting with Prof. Kenneth Liechti of the University of Texas at Austin, whose dynamic interests incorporate crack mechanics with an attention on interfacial break and delamination mechanics. Liechti has served in various ASME positions including seat, bad habit seat and secretary of the ASME Applied Mechanics Division; seat of the Basic Engineering Technical Group; and seat of the Daniel C. Drucker Medal, Timoshenko Medal and Warner T. Koiter Medal Committees. The meeting was directed by Harry Dankowicz, the proofreader of Applied Mechanics Reviews and an ASME Fellow. Dr. Dankowicz is a teacher of mechanical science and building at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
